....and apparently the listing agent hadn't either and HE put it in a counter offer today. The bargain was to cut short a so-called transferrable Home Warrnty and let my clients take over the last 5 months. Now I've never heard of anything less than one year before and this was never an issue in the past. But now it becomes a bargianing tool? When I inquired as to why they would not produce the entire year to my clients after being in the listing to begin with I get "I'll have to look into this!" What? It was HIS offer and he has been an agent way longer than me. So, I'm just cureous... has anyone ever heard of using this as a counteroffer? My clients are paying full price. Thanks for any input.
