Brian, when I saw snake workshop..I just had to see what this entailed...I don't like snakes and never heard of a workshop for snakes....so this is not for me. But, I am sure there are some that like those cold blooded things...:)

Rebecca-You either love them or hate em, fun to look at, but not my idea of a pet you want to cuddle with!

Hi Brian!

I am not one to like snakes or other reptiles...  but my daughter and her boys love them.  They have Snakes, Lizards, Turtles, and a bearded Dragon!  You will never guess who gets to feed them when they go on vacation.  The snakes get mice to eat and I draw the line there..... they have to feed them plenty before they go.  Some of the others get crickets and worms and thats not that bad.  Glad to hear that your boys enjoy them too.

Linda-That's hilarious, I draw the line at mice also, especially the "pinkies", terrible to see them get swallowed.  My son has a bearded dragon that hangs from his chest as he plays video games!

I think my seven year old son would enjoy this Brian. My three year old daughter on the other hand would scream and run in the other direction.

Brian,

That sounds like a fun learning experience!  We all have so much prejudice against all types of reptiles, such as snakes being bad.  We call people we do not like :snakes"!  This is a good way to rethink our thinking. A

R & A- at one point we had a zoo at out house: a dog, 5 fish, 12 frog, a turtle, 2 hamsters, & a green snake...too many cages to clean!
