Waves of Fun at Orange Beach Waves of Wine Festival

Save the date, Saturday, May 14th and head to Orange Beach. The luxurious Caribe Resort and Marina will be hosting the annual Waves of Wine Festival from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  

Over 100 vintages of wine will be showcased from around the world. Visitors to the show may sample dozens of varieties of wine along with hors d'oeuvres provided by local favorite restaurants. A retail tent will provide wines for sale by the bottle or case.

Wine is not the only event, however. Visitors will enjoy a classic and import car show, live music, and boat tours around the bay by Outcast Charters. The car show will feature classic and luxury cars from the Orange Beach area including unique vintage Corvettes. Music will flow all day from the main stage overlooking beautiful Perdido Bay. Participants will also go home with a free logo wine glass and custom wine bag.

The festival chairman, Rod Peevy, has lined up guest speakers from different vineyards. They will be presenting information at the main stage in between music performances. He stated that the festival was able to keep the ticket price low because of several generous sponsors.

Ticket sales for Waves of Wine will be capped at 1000 to prevent overcrowding and keep the event more quaint and enjoyable for attendees. The $45.00 ticket price includes drinks, live music, car show admission, and boat tour. There are also condo/ticket packages available. It is possible to stay right on the festival site in an upscale condo at Caribe Resort where you can walk to the events and have room to relax with family and friends.
