Madison Alabama Street Festival and Ice Cream Eating Contest

This weekend is the Madison Street Festival. There will be a parade, information booths, food, entertainment, and arts and crafts. This is the 27th annual festival that will be 
located in downtown Madison. It might be hard to find parking in downtown Madison so they are even running a shuttle this year from Bob Jones High School to help.
My all-time favorite event of the festival is the ice cream eating contest sponsored by Purity Ice Cream and WRSA 96.9 FM. The festival runs from 8am to 5pm. The ice cream eating events will be 11am, noon, 1pm, and 2pm. Come on out and have a great time!!
