Being in the right place at the right time.

Animal Kingdom wasn't even supposed to be the first tier horse for trainer Graham Motion, but the "better" of the two got injured.

Jockey John Velazquez was a last minute replacement because the original jockey broke his nose last week and took Friday off to recuperate.

But today the sit as top dogs of the horse racing world, because not only did both have the talent but both happened to be in the right place at the right time.

In real estate this happens all the time. I remember one time I was driving by a listed house and I saw people peeking in the windows. I pulled over and asked if they were waiting on an agent. When they answered no, I asked if they wanted to see inside and of course they did. We closed about a month later.

Sometimes being in the right place at the right time can also be a past client speaking up for us or our name on a yard sign or our internet presence.

I know in Southwest Missouri there are hundreds of talented agents so I have to make sure that either me or my name is at the right place at the right time. By the way, my name is Billi and I'd love to help you find or sell your home.

See It. Experience It. Live It.

Very, very true.  I love witnessing stories like that of Animal Kingdom winning the Kentucky Derby.  Just think how exciting  it was for the jockey to get his first Derby win like this.

Billi...isn't it wonderful to be at the right place at the right time. I wish that would happen about once a week!
