I thought that this was an interesting post that Colleen McConnell wrote! Check it out and then go and leave her a comment on her post. I'd love to hear what other people think on the subject. Normally I do not turn off comments but it seems it would benefit everyone for all of the comments to be in the same place for this one!

According to Myers-Briggs personality types,

An Extrovert is energized by the outer world of people and things
An Introvert is energized by the inner world of thoughts and ideas

Many introverts can go happily for long periods of time by themselves, in fact they need time alone to recharge their jets while extroverts crave interaction with others and start getting bored without it.

Quite a few people on AR have expressed their delight with FB and Twitter and others have said they don't see the benefits.  Could it be that the extroverts who love lots of interaction are the same ones who adore FB and Twitter?  Is it possible that the introverts get exhausted trying to figure out how to manage all those postings, many from people they don't really know?

I think Activerain appeals to both personality types;  you can have as much or as little interaction as you want instead of having all sorts of comments "in your face" like you get when you login to FB or Twitter.
