Bayside is located in the borough of Queens and is known for its impeccable homes and flawless
landscaping. Bayside is known as one of the most expensive areas to live in Queens, has been on CCN
Money’s list of most Expensive Housing Markets, CNN’s Best Places to Live 2005 and Best Places to
Retire 2005. It is bordered by the Grand Central Parkway to the south, Cross Island Parkway/Little Neck
Bay to the north, Francis Lewis Boulevard to the west and 233rd Street to the east. The neighboring
communities are Flushing, Whitestone, Oakland Gardens and Douglaston/Little Neck. The neighborhood

Transportation in the neighborhood includes Cross Island Expressway, Long Island Expressway and

Bayside Station which takes to you Penn Station in Midtown Manhattan and Long Island.

A popular attraction is Bell Boulevard, Bayside’s answer to nightlife, consists of bars, lounges and
restaurants with a lively small-town vibe.

Hebrew Schools of Northeast Queens, Junior High School 74 Nathaniel Hawthorne, Lutheran School of
Flushing, Middle School 158 Marie Curie, P.S. 130, P.S. 159, P.S. 162 John Golden, P.S. 169 Bay Terrace,
P.S. 203 Oakland Gardens, P.S. 205 Alexander Graham Bell, P.S. 213 The Carl Ullman School, P.S. 31
Bayside, P.S. 41 Crocheron, P.S. 46 Alley Pond, Sacred Heart School and The Lowell School.

There are also several parks located in Bayside, Alley Pond Park, Crocheron Park, Cunningham Park,
Throgs Neck Park, John Golden Park and Raymond O’Connor Field.

Local landmarks include Lawrence Cemetery, Fort Totten built during the Civil War, Straiton-Storm
Cigar Factory, All Saints Episcopal Church along with various homes including actors Gloria Swanson and
