In the 2010 census, Montgomery County was the most populated county in Maryland at around 873,000 people. The population increased by 15% since the prior census in 1990.

The average days on market this March over March of 2010 has gone up to 92 days.
However the average sold price increased by 13% to $450,671.
There was a drop of almost 10% in the number of closed sales. At the same time the total dollar value of home sold increased by 1.83%.
With some homes going fast, there are still good deals in Montgomery County, MD for owner occupied and investors.
