We Have a New Keller Williams Site to Learn

By
Real Estate Agent with Greater Washington Arera Realty

Nothing funnier than a group of eager agents trying to learn a new program that sends contracts from the listing agent to the sellers, back to the listing agent, to the buyers agent, to the buyers, back to the listing agent, then to whoever.  We all took a roll to play and tried passing the contract to the appropriate person which never would seem to make it correctly, nor did we know what to do with it when we received it.  And by the time we DID get it via email, it took so long we forgot our roll and what to do with it.

Oh dear... a room full of constant laughter as this was a room full of expert realtors.  We believe we can do a much better job each doing it on our own.

Congrats for throughing your hat in the ring and giving it a try. As the eEdge Ambassador in my market center, our biggest challenge is even getting agents to register their account. We have been spoiled in that we have been using docusign for a year now so signing contracts electronically is a breeze for us, and we have a paperless submission process as well, so not only do our agent have to learn eEdge as a contact management system, they will have to learn a totally new paperless system and document signing system come July. Oh, the fun will begin!

We, too, should be going paperless in our office, but I'm finding so many agents having yet even looked at eEdge yet.  I know it's hard to change when you are busy and comfortable, but eEdge isn't so bad.  Just takes time to learn something new.  I DO enjoy the fact we are having fun trying to learn it.  Makes you feel "not so darn stupid" when others struggle too!

Technology is great when it works.  It's amazing to me how many "work-arounds" you often need to get you where you want to be.  All the best in this new venture.  I love that you all did a "laugh and learn"!

Have to use humor on anything that drives us nuts or one will have too many health problems eventually....much more fun to poke at things with humor.  Also, nice to hear others have the same problems which makes us all feel not alone in our learning.  Good luck to all of us who have the need to learn all this new technology!
