Vacation in a beach town that has never lost it's charm!

Ahhhhh! A sweet vacation at the beach in Florida! There really is nothing like it! But where do you go to find real value these days? Sure you could stay at beach front hotel and pay top dollar or you could venture to a little beach town tucked away right behind St. Pete Beach called GULFPORT! It's an undiscovered GEM!

Gulfport is steeped in history and has a charm of what Key West was perhaps 50 years ago. Little bungalows and vacation villas line the streets, each one more colorful than the next. There is a feeling of real community here and it is confirmed by the people you meet. Gulfport has a cornucopia of wonderful little restaurants to try and the food is divine. Whether you crave a cheeseburger at the beach or an italian homemade lasagna, crab cakes, world cusine or perhaps some is all here for you. There is always live music playing somewhere on Beach Boulevard and as you stroll towards the water's edge to visit the pier to catch a breath taking sunset you are sure to find it.

Gulfport has two quaint inns and also a large quantity of vacation cottages near the water that you can rent. The inns are Sea Breeze Manor Bed & Breakfast, which is simply delightful as it sits right on Shore Blvd with views of the beach for miles! Check out the website at: The innkeeper, Lori Rosso is as nice as they come and will help you adjust to island time! There is also the historic Peninsula Inn which has nightly music in the courtyard. Guests can sit on the large wrap around porch and enjoy a nitecap.

One little vacation cottage that is particularly outstanding is Sea Shell Cottage. It is 7oo feet from Gulfport Beach! It is quiet, private and beautifully decorated! You get two units for the price on one and it includes hot tub access as well! Check it out here:
