Aggies in First Place in Big 12 South

Aggies stand alone in first place in the Big 12 South division!!  I can't believe it but the Aggies are 2-0 in the Big 12 South and Texas is 0-2.

The Aggies had a great 2nd half against Oklahoma State today to come back from a 17 point deficit to win 24-23.  The comeback matched our largest comeback ever.  Jorvorskie Lane had another great game with 2 rushing TDs and one receiving TD, the first touchdown catch of his career.

Here is a fun stat that I came across:  Tonight's attendance of 86,217 is the No. 6 largest crowd in Kyle Field history, and the largest ever in the A&M-Oklahoma State series (previous high was 82,601 for the Red, White and Blue Out Game in 2001).

The Aggies face nemesis Texas Tech next week in Lubbock.  It will be a tough game for us but it will be interesting to see the J-Train (Jorvorskie Lane) against the Raider defense.  The game will be broadcast on ABC at 2:30pm.  GO AGS!!

Mary - I think the game will be interesting but I'd give the edge to Tech since it is an away game for the Ags and we can't ever seem to beat the Raiders.

Jorvorskie Lane was unbelivable against OKlahoma State and I cannot wait to see him against Tech. Go Aggies!

Eric & Maribeth - I excited for the game this weekend but I'm going to miss most of it.  My husband is the Head Coach for my nephew's pee wee football team and they play at 3pm on Saturday and I always go to those games.  Family first but I might have to bring my portable TV.  :-)

Use a portable TV or maybe TIVO the game. Tech is always a spoiler. They are very tough to beat in Lubbock.
