First Title presents the East St. Tammany Habitat for Humanity Women's Build event.

This week is the official Women's Build week for Habitat for Humanity in the Slidell area.

Tomorrow, I am participating in the build here.  I have no idea where we will be working or what specifically I will be doing.  I am participating as part of the E.C.O. Builders team and am very excited. 

If you've never volunteered for Habitat for Humanity, do consider it.  It is amazing not only to work on the homes which are in various stages of completion, but you get to meet at least one of the homeowners who have been through the program, put in their sweat equity and have moved into their new home.  It's a win-win situation, I promise.  You learn new things about building, leave with a sense of completion, meet new people and sleep well that night!
