A little warning would have been nice!

Here we were walking up to this house, ready to show, called the owners, set up the appointment, all was good or was it? It seems not everyone was prepared for our arrival and granted if someone had a video camera on me and my clients they would have probably made $10,000 it still wasn’t cool.

Guard chicken

You see we had this little surprise waiting for us in the yard and she wasn’t too happy we were there, she kept coming at us for some reason. I don’t know if she was protecting to home or asking me to take her home for dinner, which I can tell you she came real close to getting her wish on that one.

The attack of the chickens!  Now I have heard it all...glad you escaped unscathed and unpecked!

Guard chickens...sounds like a money maker, do they have franchise opportunities?

As a child I taught a rose-coned rooster to attack my grandmother. Watching her wear rubber boots to feed the chickens was hysterical. Of course I will go to Hell for this...

I hope your clients saw the humor in it. I would ahve asked for her to come with the house, she is obviously effective...

A security chicken!

I love it!

It could be worse, snakes, weasels, a lizard, a Honey monkey, a chimp that took your hand an showed you his room, two rottweiler attack dogs...

Did you notice the size of those tallons? Maybe it couldn't be worse.

Todd, this is a classic chicken and egg story. Or is it? Maybe a classic rabid chicken protecting its egg story? Who knows! But fun for the reader at least ...

Todd.  That is funny.  Chickens can be very aggressive.  My husband is from Kansas so I have seen my share of farm animals.  Chickens and pigs can be very mean.
