Obama’s next campaign slogan?

By

It's discouraging to hear, only halfway through the presidential term, that Mr. Obama has started his campaign for 2012 and is hoping to raise 1 billion dollars toward that end.  Like most politicians (in both parties), now that the campaign is underway, he's probably going to tread lightly in fear of offending big contributors. There go our hopes for making hard decisions that will help our economy.

Barack Obama touched a nerve and warmed the hearts of many Americans during his last campaign with the slogan "The Change We Need". Most of us are still waiting for that change and since it hasn't happened yet, I wonder if he will be bold enough to use the same slogan. Do you think anyone will believe it next time?

Colleen - I think most politicians have two objectives.  First is to get elected.  The second is to remain in office.

If the "Change" was explained, great.  Hitler ran on the same platform.... change!

Actually Colleen it seems he has produced a lot of change. Higher debt, higher unemployment, weaker dollar,,, and the list goes on.

Colleen-Last election he did so much with his use of social media, I'm anxious too see how his competition will use this to get their message out. I'm still waiting for the change. LOL

I try to make it a point to stay out of politics. But just like most, he said what the crowds wanted to hear, gave them the empty promises he had no intention of seeing through just to get into office. He succeeded and we will see a repeat of that very soon.. He will have alot of new promises for the American, new and exciting speeches, more things to blame on the Bush administration, and he will say what he needs to in order to tickle the ears of the public to get those votes.
