Another Kudos to a fellow Active Rainer!

Real Estate Agent with Windermere Bay Area Properties

Well, I always like to give a pat on the back when it is deserved so when I was desperate for a creative mind to help me design a postcard for a niche property I have listed, I turned to premier Virtual Assistant, Laura Monroe of Creative Agent Solutions.

Within a couple of days I had a proof, made a bunch of tweaks and had a finished product ready to upload to Express Copy for printing.

Three days after that I had beautiful, jumbo, laminated postcards in my hands!

She was fast, fast, fast - even on the day of her daughter's birthday party - thank you Laura!  She was easy to work with and just "got" what I was trying to say even though I probably wasn't communicating it totally clearly.

Anyway, big kudos to Laura- I will be back for more virtual help!

Laura, you were just fantastic to work with.  I hope to use you again soon!  I have ideas.... :)

Thesa, yes, I would say you can count on Laura, the best thing about VA's is the exact thing that makes it all scary too... not being able to meet them, know them in person, or necessarily see their work. I'm glad I could help you with a recommendation that I endorse 100%.

(But Laura, trying to figure out why snapshots doesn't put a bubble next to your active rain profile.. hmmmmm)

Hi Gail,  don't mind at all.  Actually that particular logo/name is an option actually with the site provider. I used Agency Logic aka Power Sites for my single property sites and they give you that option.  Once, when I let a property expire, the next agent that took the listing, simply took all my pictures off my single property site.  I don't know if this stops that practice totally as you can cut and paste, etc. but I like to think it helps discourage. I didn't do anything against that agent as it is a small world and I hate to burn bridges, but it taught me a lesson for next time.  Hope that helps. I recommend Agency Logic for their features, their price and flexibility in design and styles.    (boy I'm just a recommending queen today)

Awesome Catherine....I think it's great that you are posting a positive post about a VA here.  The ones on AR especially need to be recognized...somehow I KNEW that Laura would be a lot more positive experience than that other one we wrote about 6 months or so ago.

Gail, our MLS does ad a watermark now.. started that about a year ago I guess.. perhaps to combat that exact problem of other agents copying photos.  I just think "come on people, stop being lazy and take your own photos!"

Mary,  you betcha... I never want anyone to go thru that experience especially with so much money on the line...  Some people are just born honest and helpful.. and others well.. not sure anymore...  Laura is A+.
