Joni,
Very nice grouping of the flowers and great lighting. Makes a wonderful shot. :)
Steve
Thank you, Steve! I took it on the tree right before it RAINED big time! :O)
Oh my. I know I set up an account with picnik. LOL.... if only I could remember my account password and login! It's a good idea to attach your name to the photo. It's beautiful.
Lindsey: They will resend it to you! I love picnik. I hardly ever post a photo that has not been there. Sometimes I forget to put the copyright directly on the photo.
Hi Joni,
I love your photo... it's beautiful how the background fades away. You are so good with your camera... and I am always happy to view your photos.
I'm looking forward to seeing more photos of Princess Mama and the gang when you visit there again. I really enjoyed your post when you went to visit and painted all the ladies nails.... all the ladies looked so happy and I'm sure felt really good after their nail's got painted!!!
Joni.....Great photo...I don't know how you can stay silent on such a beautiful plant! Thanks!
Hope you have a great day!!---Rob
Good morning Joni,
What a fabulous shot. Love how you captured the flowers so clean and crisp! My sister-in-law loves white flowers..just her style!
Pretty flower Joni. Thanks for sharing and I hope you have a great weekend.
Absolutely beautiful. Thanks for sharing your photograph. Have a wonderful week. We're having a rainy Saturday in Maryland.
Blooming for you!
Joni - is that the name of this beautiful plant? White poison? Seems like a horrible name for such a beautiful flower.
Joni, What a beautiful flower, I have never seen or heard of it before. So who said Poison is not good for you?:)))
Spectacular! shot you have there, Joni, I like picnik too. (pretty in pink too)
That's a great shot! I see it is copyrighted. That's a very good idea. Thanks for sharing it
Joni, finally in comment #14 you mention that the White Poison flower is a White Oleander. Now that, I think, is poisonous. And the only reason I remember that... is from the movie of the same name.
I would have been ok, though. I don't think I have ever eaten any flower... or at least none that I know of. LOL.
Thank you, Joann! I turned off the flash and let the light come in naturally.
Juli: It is an Oleander. Like the Pink one that I posted in Wordless Wednesday. It is a toxic flower. My momma calls it a poison plant. Thus, White Poison/Pink Poison. :O)
Endre: Just don't eat it!
Teral: Yes ma'am. I like the pink better! It's in Wordless Wednesday.
Thank you for re-posting this, Lloyd! :O) This makes me very happy!
Carolyn: So sorry! I posted a Pink Poison on Wednesday and was not thinking that someone new might see this one. It was explained in the comments that it is a toxic plant. My mom calls it the poison plant (she hates them!) and that is where I got the title of the photo. I don't hate them. Just don't serve them up for appetizer's! :O)
Joni -- I loved this pic..just lovely. I am glad you explained the 'poison' descriptor in your comment as I didn't understand that. Thanks!
Barbara: I think that I confused a lot of people. I grew up hearing my mother call them poison plants! :O)
