Today is Red Day for Keller Williams agents across the country. RED Day(Renew, Energize and Donate) is an initiative dedicated to celebrating Keller William's year-round comittment to improving our local communities. Each year on the second Thursday in May, associates participate in a variety of activities that give back in some way to the community or an organization. This year my market center at Southlands in SouthEast Aurora teamed up with the office in Parker, Colorado to do something a little different. We folded flags for soldiers stationed overseas. Small flags are folded up into tight triangles and placed in a baggie with a note and an ecouraging word. The soldiers who receive them can carry them in ther pockets to be a tangible reminder of why they have sacrificed so much for where they are and what they are doing.
