 KOSHER BBQ COOK-OFF & FESTIVAL

The Second Annual When Pigs Fly! Kosher BBQ Cook-Off and Festival will be this Sunday, May 15th from 11 AM til 3 PM in the parking lot of Temple Beth-El in Birmingham's southside.  Last year the event was so much fun and this year should be even better!  Come join the fun!  Everyone is invited!

 

There's going to be plenty of yummy food including BBQ beef and chicken, live music and fun!  Who will win the cook-off?

Well, a good time by all.  Except the cow.  And the chicken.   The pig, on the other hand is doing a billboard campaign -- eat more chicken and beef.  LOL!  Thanks for the post!

The music alone would have been enough to get me to come to this event! Throw in the fact that it's "delicious, divine and devoid of swine" and I wouldn't miss it for a million bucks! Oh wait. Bucks aren't kosher either!!! Never mind!

I don’t know anything about kosher foods but I thought pigs weren’t kosher. How does one make something kosher? Google, here I come….
