Metro Phoenix top home sale of the week!
Inquiring minds want to know! Are the higher priced homes selling? What was the highest priced home sold in the Metro Phoenix Area this week? Here it is:
The home was sold by John R. O'Malley, managing partner of Camelback Toyota in Phoenix. The home was built in 2004 in Red Rock at the base of Camelback Mountain in Phoenix. O'Malley paid $4.65 million for the property in 2006. Now, Maureen Dawson of Vancouver, British Columbia, as trustee of the MBG Dawson Trust, paid $3,200,000 cash for this 6,588-square-foot home with a pool. The home is located on an elevated lot in Paradise Valley with a long driveway up to the home. The home sits on a 3.5 acres parcel with great mountain views!

Many people think that the higher priced homes are not selling. This is simply not so. It is not only the lower priced starter homes that buyers (including investors are buying). Homes have still been selling in the higher priced ranges. We have even had investors pick up some and flip them to make money. Yes, this still can be done!
Actually this spring has really picked up and the future values are looking promising. There were quite a few homes sold just this week that were multi-million dollar homes.
