The Arc Nature Coast - Unveiled!
The long awaited grand opening of The Arc Nature Coast took place this morning at The Arc's beautiful new Spring Hill facility at Partridge and Mariner Blvd.
The Arc Nature Coast is a nonprofit organization that serves people with developmental disabilities and helps them to live and stay within their communities by offering life skills and employment training.
The ceremony began with speeches highlighting the history of The Arc and offered thanks to the many donors who made this new educational center that also doubles as a regional evacuation shelter during hurricanes and other natural emergencies.

Dignitaries and staff of The Arc helped unveil the Founders Monument so that visitors had an opportunity to read the inscriptions.
The ribbon cutting concluded the official ceremony. Guests had an opportunity to tour the new facility, speak with staff and clients while enjoying food and refreshments.
