I know how close Walnut is to LA and that's a pretty amazing sight!  I love the countryside between Chino Hills and Diamond Bar as well, the hills along Grand....

I had to look at that location name again. . .Walnut, California.  We have Walnut Grove and Walnut Creek within an hour of Sacramento.  But the cows and the pastural scene of your picture told me it wasn't either of those:-)
