My youngest daughter, Aly. Her husband, Larry. Their son, Ryder. And baby makes three.
We got to go to Colorado Springs last week to see our newest grandchild as he turned 2 weeks old. Ryder already has us all wrapped around his little finger - we passed him around a lot, but I don't think we ever actually put him down. I think they can take the bassinet back.
And he looks just like me! I knew he would. :)

Nellie - I know! You don't get it until you are a grandma yourself. And each grandchild is so special - who knew?
Thank you, Jane - I am suggesting a few blonde/gray streaks when he gets a little older - maybe next week.
I don't think I like all these bad influences! Now I'm waiting for the day when I hear "but grandma lets me do that at her house". We've accepted there's going to be some cosmic revenge though.

I quit using a mirror to play with him and just started holding a picture of you in front of him, same effect :)
Sounds like Ryder is going to grow up with a lot of love mixed with a lot humor from this special family. As a former Pediatric RN, he looks absolutely perfect and brilliant!
Our dearest friends had their 2nd grandchild today..make that yesterday Friday 13th!
