I don't know, but it's gorgeous. I worked at Winterthur Museum & Gardens, a du Pont estate and they had one similar.

Whatever year that fire truck is, it's in excellent condition! I'm guessing early 50's. But then again, what do I know about cars/ trucks?!!!

Ann, betcha dollars to doughnuts that is a 1941 Dodge firetruck!

I can usually tell by looking a some classic cars what year they are.  But firetrucks are a little different.  I'm guessing 1940s too.

Ah Ann....all I need to see is pictures of an old beauty restored like this, and it makes me NOT want to get my convertible running to sell it.

But they are EXPENSIVE toys if you don't work on them yourself...and now with gas what it is, I can't imagine what it would cost to fill my beast.

Ah, but just to get her on the road again. That will probably be the determining factor.

It's so hard not to imagine her being here.

Ann, My guess is 1947. Great photos! The fire truck is in pristine condition. I hope you intend to find out the model year … and post an update!
