Montrose Colorado.. Real Estate Market Update Report May 8th - May 15th 2011

Here is the Real Estate activity for the last 7 Days in the Montrose Area. There were 7 Properties that sold & closed there were another 11 that went under contract. The prices you see next to the properties that went under contract are the list prices and do not reflect the price at which the property maybe under contract for. All the information contained in this blog comes from the Colorado Realtors Information Network  (CREN) This is the public view, the system that we the realtors use is vastly different than the view  you see.

Since January 1st 116 homes have sold in the Montrose area of those 116,     41 were bank owned properties which represents 36% of home sale were foreclosures.

There are currently 571 homes for sale, out of that number 48 are bank owned homes which is 8.5% of the available homes

It is a great place to live. Even though the market has changes a lot in the last 3 years life is still good.
