Elements of FEAR in a Real Estate transaction...

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Action Realty

Individuals selecting their Real Estate Agent want to feel confident in that they have chosen a real estate professional who is knowledgeable, and hard working, with a commitment to understanding their buying and selling needs and giving 100% towards satisfying those requirements.  An individual who reads between the lines and can get the most out of their clients, in an effort to give as much back to them as possible.

Often hidden deep down in a client or customer, there may be a precieved fear of elements to a transaction which could include the listing or purchase and sale contract, fear of making the wrong decision, fear of owning two homes, fear of rejection or maybe a fear that you've chosen the wrong REALTOR®.

As a fear is discovered, I as a REALTOR® help to identify and lay out a strategy to effectively overcome such concerns. Once fears and concerns have been addressed and overcome, clients and customers alike will be left with a strong desire and motivation to accomplish their goals.  This vital process is often overlooked in a high pressure sales environment leaving room for fears to overshadow the excitement and happiness of buying or selling your next home.

And out of the blue, those unaddressed fears can derail deals leaving everyone saying "what just happened here?" Great point, Chris.

Hi Chris - good first blog post. I suggest that you get that chrismeger.ca web site active soon - (other than the generic "parked" page that is). And welcome to my Canadian group - your membership is approved. Oh, and please say hi to Mike for me. Cheers!

Hi Chris - You can address all the fears you know and the client will come up with a new one.  Most of the time we can put their minds at ease and when we don't know the answer we let them know we can find the answer to put their fears to rest.
