Many people in Winthorp Washington and Methow Valley watched rain, and then more rain and then even more rain pour down swelling the rivers and streams in North Central Washington. Flood warnings are in effect for North Central Washington.
Here is a great website that monitors the Methow River in Winthrop Washington Twisp and Pateros: http://www.methowvalley.com/highwater.html Here you can peruse various graphs about the water in the Methow River and check out a web cam (that constantly refreshes) of the Methow River in Winthrop that is updated every 5 seconds or so.
The National Weather Service has quite a bit of information on their site. This map monitors the status of the rivers in our area http://water.weather.gov/ahps2/index.php?wfo=otx&view=1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1&toggles=10,7,8,2,9,15,6
