Ambassador was added to my title here on Active Rain in April. I was also named "Agent of the Month" for RE/MAX New England. Six months is way to soon to be awarded any such designation if it is also based in real estate activity. 8 Listings in the first 6 months, one of them is under a purchase and sale agreement, one is rented both deals completed within two weeks of going on the market. The rental was above market rental, and the sale was 98% of value List to Sale Price. Each of my listings are in different areas. City, Suburb, Small City with economic diversity differences as well. I am also representing buyers. I have closed a rental and have a contract to purchase signed today for a property in Weymouth.
I was certified a HAFA specialist today to help people through the short sale and deed-in-lieu process with my banking partners at Prospect Mortgage. It makes sense for strategic partnerships to be created between agent/brokers with loan officer/mortgagor because the process is about marrying the right people to the right deal in the right way. It makes sense to work out the kinks with a trusted partner who's level of service you are sure of.
I have taken some time away from the blog for the first time in a year and one half, almost. Time to take a breath and assess and adjust my process based on what has gone on so far. While inroads have been made on the sales sides, I am making no use of the prospecting side. I am not actively prospecting beyond the lowest of low hanging fruit, someone asks me for my card, I give it to them. Sometimes I think to offer my card, before the ask. These are good and usual days. I am not making best use of Top Producer or HBM Scouting System.
Truth and Service will be my blog where I talk about the process of real estate and offer the library to my posts. Boston Area Quick Move In Homes will be the lead generation and real estate site with property and market reports being the focus. Active Rain is where I can ask questions and share the ups and downs. Since we are all different doing the same job differently there are infinite reasons to be chosen, or not. Being professional in the approach shows. I am pleased with the work of last month and the awards, I am focused on being better with the prospecting and continuing to provide good, and useful content.
