How do you keep in touch with clients while your on vacation

I try to get an assitant to handle all of my business, but I still have that "can't let go" feeling when I am away. I am heading out for vacation next week and am organizing everything in the office. I do wind up taking my laptop and check email 2 or 3 times a day while I am away. Is that really a vacation? I also keep my cell with me and tell my clients to call me with any issues, or questions they may have. So, do I really ever get a vacation?

Hi Eric,

When we are in the country on vacation we have always stayed in touch by email or cell phone. We also have an agent back home covering for us while we are away if need be.

When out of the country we just check email and we usually go out of country during the slow periods of the yr.

So just kick back and relax and have a great time.
