Rhinoceros spotted in backyard of a Mesquite Nevada home!

A rhinoceros was spotted hiding in the jungle in a backyard of a home for sale in Mesquite NV.  The huge animal was discovered by a Kokopelli landscaping crew while attempting to trim the plush palm trees that surround the perimeters of this park-like immense back yard.

OK, don't worry - it turned out to be a very large rhino-shaped rock.  I admit, I can't even spell rhinocerous.  I had to spellcheck it.  This is a very nice backyard, though - palm trees, grape vines, large oak trees, waterfall, babbling brook.   Does not sound like your usual desert landscaping, does it?  And all low maintenance in a NO Hoa neighborhood.

Virginia, beautiful landscape and nice to have no maintenance or HOA. I wonder where did they find that rock?

Rebecca - probably in Arizona, it is right next door.  Some of these homes are amazing, green and lush, with plants and trees, you just trim them occasionally.  You see lots of 'faux' grass in the No HOA neighborhoods.  :)

John, Gotcha!  This should have been a Silly Sunday post.

Virginia that does look like a rhino!  Very cute, it reminded me of laying on the ground and looking up at the clouds to see what shapes I could imagine as a child.  Have a super day!
