Linden78 launches the first residential collaboration in New York City with Citibabes, a leading family lifestyle brand focused on children’s education. 

The newly installed resident’s only playroom at the boutique Upper West Side condo located at 230 West 78th Street, will feature a Citibabes’ signature custom-designed room geared at enriching childhood play for children ages 0-10. 

Citibabes, founded in 2005, has recently branched out of the classroom, providing design consultation services, where they design, purchase and install all furniture and fixtures creating tailor-made play spaces.

The new “PlaySpace by Citibabes” will provide children with a variety of interest points such as a reader’s retreat with space for quiet reading, a chef’s corner, an artist’s alley, and a rhythm zone with an Ipod dock. The space has been designed without televisions or computers encouraging children to be creative with eco-friendly wooden puzzles and games.

Residents of Linden78 will also be able to take advantage of Citibabes-To-Go programs. Services include residents’ activities, classes, adventure camps, childcare, and parties with advanced reservations. Linden’s children can enjoy music or dance lessons in the privacy of their own homes, for example, or personalized birthday parties in the building’s playroom.

Linden78 is a 21-story luxury condominium located on the Upper West Side. With unique floor plans and full floor homes. Many of the homes feature private outdoor space. Amenities of Linden78 include a fitness center, children’s playroom, cold storage room and 24-hour attended lobby. In addition, residents can enjoy the landscaped roof-top terrace and the beauty of the Linden Garden with professionally manicured plantings.

The 21-story building was designed by the award-winning firm Handel Architects.  The architect’s goal was to unite two bold aesthetic visions. From the street, Linden78 blends into the predominantly pre-war neighborhood via classic brick facing and Parisian-style balustrades. Rising from the building’s setback on the 16th floor is a dramatic modern, glass curtain wall. All the interiors are custom designed and feature high-end contemporary finishes.

Each of the homes feature an eat-in, gourmet chef’s kitchen, many with windowed breakfast area; classic Pietro Bianco Luna countertops complement sleek stainless steel appliances by Viking and Miele, and InSinkErator disposals complete the top-of-the-line package. Elegantly appointed master bathrooms feature Lagos Azul limestone floors, Luce di Luna countertops, Mezzanine Mink glass wall tiles, Waterworks sconces, Kohler six-foot Tea-for-Two soaking tub and oversized glass stall shower. The second bath features Bluestone mini-brick stone floors and Carrera marble countertops.

Only a few 3 bedroom homes are still available for sale at Linden78. Prices range from $2.4 million for a 1723 square foot 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home to $6.925 million for a 7.5 room 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath 3006 square foot penthouse.
