A total of $15 million is available for use with MCCs as a companion to any regular FHA, VA, RD or Conventional mortgage.
In order to participate in the Program, first-time homebuyers must meet certain income, location and purchase price requirements for the loan, purchase a home and obtain a mortgage loan through a participating lender. The property must be within the five parishes of Imperial Calcasieu.
A borrowing family's current annualized gross monthly income must not exceed certain limits. The Maximum income limits of the program are as follows (subject to change):
