7:30AM – Prepared for the homes that I was going to show in Chandler to David and Rose from Nebraska.  Brandon had a tough time getting up this morning to go to school. I found out later that he was upset that he lost his new soccer ball at school yesterday and he was too ashamed to tell us, his parents. When I found out that he lost it I went ballistic, not because it was expensive or anything. In fact, it was a gift from his aunt. But you see, he lost a ball at school about a month ago and I told him to never bring anything to school because things get lost. And he did anyway.

9:00AM – Showed homes to David and Rose. They are still not convinced in their minds to buy right now, so I sent them to Maricopa to meet up with Carey.

10:00AM – Went to Brandon’s school in Ahwatukee and I found his ball in the hallway near another class. He was surprised by my appearance and I scolded him in front of his teacher and they both apologized to me. I was like no no no, don’t apologize teacher, I am just teaching my son a lesson. So after they went back to their class and I found the ball, I walked into his classroom, and all the kids shouted: “Brandon, your Daddy is here!” They were happy to see me, because I am the fun Dad who horses around with them. I then lifted the ball into the air and exclaimed: “I got it!” A big smile flashed on Brandon’s face and then as I turned to leave I shouted: “Study Hard everyone! I am outta here!”

10:30AM - Ran the open house with Carey at Cobblestone Farms while emailing and helping out with issues.

3:45PM – Took Brandon and Marissa to Tae Kwon Doe where we ended up staying until 5:45PM because Brandon wanted to watch the Black Belt class; he is obsessed. He went 4 times this week.

6:00PM – Studied piano with Bran making him repeatedly do the same bridge over and over again. He was annoyed, but he worked at it. I don’t blame him. Piano practicing is so boring.

8:00PM – Watched Nickolodean with the kids and wife and helped put Brandon to sleep. Talked with members of Team Realty Force and Scot Ellis. And now I am writing this here blog excerpt and getting ready to go to bed, to wake up early to take Bran to soccer practice and then off to Casa Grande to meet Dave, to help train him. I think this is a big weekend for him.
