I am a newbie to both the real estate industry and to the Active Rain community and just wanted to see if other rookies in the area are having experiences similar to my own. I've found that, although the Metro Atlanta market (macro view) does face some significant challenges, there are still several submarkets that are seeing steady sales activity. It appears that we could really divide the market into two major categories - sales in communities outside the perimeter and sales in communities inside the perimeter. The majority of my activity has been inside 285 and property values seem to have remained stronger than in other locales. Does anyone care to comment on this phenomenon?
