A fundraiser that is a feast for the eyes is underway in Marietta, Georgia. The Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art is featuring a show house that will highlight a new home design, as well as top local interior designers.
Located at 21 Whitlock Drive and built by Marietta Developer Mark Kirk, the home features 16 rooms which were decorated by 21 designers. The adjacent Lawrence House, built in 1870, will serve as a gallery for southeastern artwork and jewelry. Thirty percent of all sales will benefit the museum.
The Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art is the leading visual arts center in metro Atlanta that focuses solely on American Art. Its mission is to inspire and educate a diverse community through exhibition, interpretation, collection and presentation of works of American art. More information is available at www.MariettaCobbArtMuseum.org.
The show house will be open until Sunday May 22nd and tickets can be purchased for $15 in advance at www.ArtandDesignShowHouse.com or for $20 at the door. Admission to both the show house and Lawrence House are included.
