I would guess that in over 50% of short sale listing presentations I attended. . someone ended up crying at the table.

Lets face it, a short sale event inside a family circle is a huge event. .

Sadly, I see that in many cases a divorce is the final result.

People seems to use an underwater mortgage to make other final decisions about their marriage and unfortunately the children are left with one single parent and the threat of beig homeless.

But. .  is just in the way you confront this problem.

Because the good part is that I also see many families that are even closer than ever. .together and use the short sale event as a way to solidify their relationships to a much higher level

The benefit of a short sale is simple. .you get to start again and have a blank canvas . . and if the love in your family is much stronger. .your unity will guarantee you a much happier life for the future.

The worst thing that can happen during a short sale situation is that one of the parties use this as a sign of failure and wants out of the house and out of the marriage.. just giving up and feeling  this seems to be the best time to do this.

It doesn't have to be. .your family is going trough an stressful event and your children feel your desperation. . this is the time where your family should be together and face the situation in unity.. .because I can assure you that once is over, your appreciation for one and another will be even much higher.
