How Does the HUD Bidding Process Work?

HUD stands for the US Department of Housing and Urban Development and what's unique about the bidding process is that it is all done on-line by a registered/qualified HUD specialist (which I am). A prospective home buyer can place a bid until 11:59pm and find out the next following business day whether or not the bid was accepted or rejected. If you get rejected because your offer is too low and noone else has won that property you can place another higher bid that day and see what happens the following day, and so on. For example, if you place a bid on Monday, you will find out Tuesday if you won or not and if you place a bid on Friday, Saturday or Sunday (by 11:59pm) you will find out on Monday if you won.
