She is claiming to read...until it comes to a number...then she has to count the mushrooms. You promise the ride is easy...until it comes to the 90 foot drop that you hadn't remembered. You start out with the challenge of a mile...and then realize that 3 miles has become easy. You come home to see your dogs waiting for you at the back door...and realize that they have spent their day for this moment.
It is so easy to miss the day to day events in the midst of the tomorrows of our lives. We plan, we prepare, we route. We want to make our days as predictable as possible...but in the midst of it all, we miss the important stuff. The best stuff... the "treasures" of our lives are the unplanned, spur of the moment stuff.
The message here is short. No more needs to be said. No more elaboration. Live for right now. Live for this moment. It won't happen again. See it and celebrate the fact that you were there.
