Washington State Home Inspector Field Training -- Bellingham Technical College

By
Home Inspector with King of the House Home Inspection, Inc. Home Inspector Lic #207

An important aspect of obtaining a home inspector license in the State of Washington involves completing not only 120 hours of fundamentals training -- structure, roofs, electric, Hvac, plumbing -- but also 40 hours of field training. The fundamentals training must be completed at an approved school. The field training may be done with a licensed inspector.

For practical purposes, most of the students who take their training at Bellingham Technical College, choose to complete both courses during the same four week period of time. The next course, will be offered at BTC beginning on July 11, 2011. We will, in 2011, only have one other course offering this year. That will start on October 17, 2011.

For an overview of the BTC course, please watch this short video that I prepared.

Anyone interested in any of the upcoming courses, should contact Bellingham Technical College at 360-752-8796.
