Special offer

Waiting, exciting and frustrating!

By
Real Estate Agent with BHHS Keys Real Estate

We wrote an offer for a condo in Futura Yacht Club on Saturday evening. The other agent picked it up at around 7:00 PM.

My waitingbuyers were diving yesterday, so it wasn't weighing so heavily on their mind. But once they came out of the water, the wondering began.....

Will they take our offer? Will they counter to high? Will someone else have a higher offer? Will we be able to close in time to rent it out for July? Will they answer us SOON?

I try hard to keep them calm. In this instance, our offer was right on a recent sale, but this unit is better, now we have to determine how much. The sellers were traveling yesterday, so they probably didn't see the offer until last night. The agent on the other side is a Pro.

My Buyers are not emotional about this AND we have a back up unit if this doesn't fly. But, I have a feeling...........

Kathy, I feel for your and your clients.  I sure hope you all hear soon.  I had an offer in on a short sale for a 1st time home buyer, and even though he knows I warned him, the waiting was just too much.  After 2 months of not hearing a word he withdrew and decided to rent for a while...  sad.

Here's to a smooth and quick closing for all of you!
Pamela
P.S Also congrats on your milestone!  Just noticed you crossed over the 200K zone!  Well done!
