Pre-Natal Yoga for the 2nd Trimester Mother
Pre-natal yoga for the second trimester will be offered at the Emerald Isle, NC Parks & Recreation Community Center, 7500 Emerald Drive, Emerald Isle, NC on Wednesday evenings beginning May 25th from 6:45 to 7:45pm. This is a six week class aimed at nurturing the expecting mother with gentle yoga and relaxation. Class fee is $55 per student for the six week class. Maximum class size is 6 students. Students will do some gentle postures to develop strength and balance to prepare for childbirth. Each class will end with a nice period of relaxation. Students are asked to bring a yoga mat, bed pillow and blanket; some equipment is available for use. Whether it is her first birth or the sixth birth, each birth is different and each is special. This is a time for the expectant mother to treat herself to making the birth easier and a time to treasure that "special gift" she is carrying. The students will be allowed to bring their husband, family member, or non-pregnant friend to the classes to assist and act as coach at no additional cost.
