I was reading Inman news today and saw Realogy is bringing back BH&G. This is where i started in the Real estate world. Our Company was with Better Homes & Gardens until 2000 when GMAC made all companies change to their name. I personality loved the BH&G brand & all the guys who worked for BH&G. they were like family. I was fortunate enough to meet the Leaders and top brokers through the Masters Golf Tournament. We helped them secure a home with tickets for the week. This i believe was great for a smaller broker to learn from some of the best in the nation.
The leaders at GMAC are great, but have a different mindset than BH&G. I believe GMAC Real estate has had a tough time dealing with GM and all their corporate BS. With the GMAC name this franchise should have taken off like a rocket. I still feel GMAC Real estate is great brand for the local brokers in the network.
I will be watching the New BH&G brand over time to see how the market accepts her and see if they try to come in the Augusta Georgia Real Estate Market
