Hello All From Northern VA

I'm so excited to see we have our own networking group, thanks so much for putting this together!  My name is Melissa Stewart, I'm a full time, professional and ethical Realtor in Northern VA.  I'm also a mother of two and a proud spouse of a wonderful husband who is a vetern and just recently FINALLY got out of the Army.  I've been in real estate for 3 1/2 years but came from an insurance background which helped me transition very smoothly, in addition I decided to go with the best mentor a new agent can have, the Broker/Owner of my agency and worked side by side with him for over a year.  My brokerage has over 100 agents, and are opening our 7th office in the area.  I've been awarded as a Top 10 agent within my agency the past 3 years, and have received numerous accolades from corporate each year as well as our local association.  My family is currently laying some roots in the Fredericksburg area now that we have decided to make this our home for the next 20+ years, my mother and father are here and close. I do a lot of business in King George, Stafford, Woodbridge, Caroline and Fredericksburg. I represent a wonderful quality builder, Cantrell Builders, and we currently have a terrific subdivision in Caroline County.  I began my career in land development and have continued with that passion although I currently have more residential listings than any one person should have!!  I just recently received my ABR designation to educate myself more in the residential market after trying to dual represent and finding out that that is simply not my style!! I'm also working towards testing for my broker license, and hope to test early next year. I'm an ethical agent that works hard to protect, educate, and negotiate the best terms for my clients and am excited about the opportunity to work with you all!  Hope all had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday and I'm sure I will talk to you all soon!
