Yesterday I congratulated my pastor on 25 years being ordained as a Pastor in my blog and I promised that I 
would post a few things he has learned in the past 25 years!
I was amazed at how many of them pertain to Real Estate and not just in church....think about them...
Here is some wisdom from J Stephen Perotti....fondly known only as Pastor Steve!
1. There are a few sacred cows in every church that need to be sacrificed. Could be events, traditions, we are in a new day and a new time so we need to keep up with today. It doesn't mean that everything has to change but maybe there are a few areas that need some help.
2. Sometimes we are not as willing to change as we think we are. We want everything around us to change...but we don't want to have to change....
3. We can't take personal preference over God's will. This one was powerful....how many times do we try to skew things to meet what we want over what we know is actually for the best?
4. We need to Let Go in Order to Grow. The way he explained it is that we have to experience death to experience a new life.
5. Gossip....don't do it....Gossip is destructive. If you have an issue with some one then you need to talk to them....not to every one else about it.
6. Don't take your self to seriously....have fun...let loose and life life!!!
7. Continue the Ministry of Christ through sharing the good word!
As you can see....change is in the air always....we can embrace it or we can fear and run from it! I loved these tidbits of wisdom! I hope you did as well!!
