We have Mountain Laurel throughout Lake Ridge. It's easy to do when you consider we live in a 4,400 acre subdivision and 1,200 acres of it are heavily wooded common ground. The blossoms above are on Mountain Laurel just beyond the edge of our lot line.

Lake Ridge is one of the 10 largest subdivisions in the US - it is home to 38,000 people living in 7,000 residences. In addition to its' own wooded lots and common area it sits along the shores of the 2,100 acre Occoquan Reservoir - great for flora and fishing. Actually, it is also a lovely natural wildlife preserve. It's the "sort of place you'll like if you like that sort of place".
