The Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver includes some of the most picturesque scenery and one of the mildest climates in Canada.

Mountains, oceans and beaches are available in breathtaking abundance and beauty. The spectacular landscape provides the setting for an array of outdoor adventures - cycling , hiking, camping, kayaking, sailing, golfing, skiing and snowboarding. Where else can you ski in the morning and sail in the afternoon.

Always a favoured destination for sophisticated travellers, the climate is mild and temperate but the region's mountains are equally renowned for their epic snowfalls. That is why the region had been chosen to host the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

From the snowy slopes of Whistler to the urban beat of Vancouver, from the pastoral nature of Pitt Meadows to Steveston, the village by the sea, this area has a much to offer residents and visitors alike.

Vancouver is the largest city in BC and has consistently been named as one of the world's most liveable cities. This is due in part because of its natural beauty, vibrant downtown, educational facilities, and a range of shopping choices.

Vancouver is surrounded on three sides by water and is a popular place for residents and visitors to enjoy the beaches recreational opportunities, Stanley Park, and the cosmopolitan vibe.

The City of Vancouver is divided into East Side and West Side at Ontario Street (near Main Street). The West Side has several well-established neighbourhoods, each with its own character and unique features.

The North Shore is more than just a spectacular backdrop for one of the world's most scenic cities. Few places offer visitors the opportunity to spend the morning skiing and snowboarding, followed by an afternoon picnic on the beach watching the cruise ships sail by, and topped off with an exquisite dining experience.

The pleasures of Grouse Mountain are only a fifteen minute drive away from Lonsdale Avenue a main North Vancouver business zone. The North Shore is also one of the few areas where you can go skiing in the morning and scuba diving in the afternoon.
