Day 1 at Raincamp Dallas - Lots of friendly faces

As expected, Day 1 of Raincamp Dallas was filled with good information and lots of friendly faces. The speakers included two guys dressed in shorts and flip flops (literally), but they were VERY energetic and provided some great tips on marketing via Facebook and about your online presence.

Its always great to see Greg, Karen, Brad, Donna, and Marvin. Also had the opportunity to meet Niki.

I finally had the chance to meet Teral McDowell, who I've spoken with many times over the past 2 years or so, online through facebook and email. If you want to see some GREAT pictures, make sure to check out Joni Staples on Activerain and Facebook because she took some wonderful photos. And of course, I'm sure most of you know Deb Brooks. I had the pleasure of sitting by her for both days during the seminar.

I'll take more photo's today and will post some on facebook.

Loreena - Bob is covering quite a bit (adding maps, altering pictures, etc.) right now. Earlier he covered some SEO, adjusting your prifile on AR, and provided some really good information. Some you probably know already, but its been great so far.

Gary - It was great seeing you again. Hopefully you didnt have any trouble driving home in this crazy weather. We had quite a bit of hail.

Karen - Im how many there are, but Im sure there are a small group that have issues. Those are probably the same people who have issues about lots of things not just Activerain. :-)

John - You are so right. So many people that you talk with and feel like you know them already.

Mike - Im pretty sure I have a picture of you somewhere. The lighting was throwing my camera off a bit and many pictures turned out blurry. Hopefully you were not one of those pictures. I'll post more shortly.

Marchel - Lots of familiar faces for sure. It was not quite as packed as it was last year, but still was filled with some good information and of course some 'reminder' information of things I should have been doing since last year. :-)

Day 1 at Raincamp was awesome, got to meet a lot of wonderful people that I hadn't met before today. Can't wait until tomorrow when we have our breakout sessions. (Hopefully everyone there enjoyed my time on stage)
