This series began as a "wordless" one and overnight is evolving into something more. Everything we do is like throwing a pebble in a pond. It creates ripples and frequently changes what we do next. And this is very true in the way we "take" pictures. The technology has evolved to a place it is a wonder Ford or Polaroid have not put a camera in the headlights of a car allowing us to click of photograph in the same way we push a button for everything else.

For me, taking pictures is more about making them and being in the experience rather than on the outside looking in at what is happening. In this way, this series will be about seeing differently and hopefully encouraging you to interact with all the visual tools you now use to communicate in a more engaging way. Pictures do tell a story in a thousand words. The words are wordless and mean something different to each of us based on our experience of the world. I grew up with Life Magazine. From it, I learned Life Happens.

In our new landscape of real estate, life is happening differently for Realtors and certainly buyers and sellers. There is more to life than real estate. I hope this series will be a reminder.

Hi Emily, Hidding behind a tree? That may or may not be your hand that I see on that tree. :-)

I spy with my little eye a bejeweled hand on the tree, but that could be a red herring.  Funny about the house, I was just looking at Nellie's post with a ranch house - they are different everywhere.  Nice hand by the way.

Emily my friend has a home on a few acres overlooking a river outside of Sante Fe which looks a lot like this wonderful picture.  My guess is a friend of yours is a long for the ride and you're enjoying the day touring homes or the countryside together!  All you need is a picnic basket and you're set!  Enjoy!

Emily, this is an enchanting place, a hand adding a touch of mystery to the experience. Will we find out whose hand and the house are in your photo?

Emily pictures are very important and many times add a new perspective to the words we use.

Anna, you are right about being near a river. The day was all not about real estate and more why we love New Mexico. Stay tuned.

Elizabeth, the "hand" belongs to one of the best improvisation stars I've ever worked with in many of my images. I appreciate your interest. At the end of each "Where Am I" post in the series, I will give you'll the answer for the previous adventure.

Geoge, just imagine how different real estate could look if we added a "new" perspective to the images!
