Craig, Hadn't used Google Bookmarks before, I'll have to switch modes, life gets so much better this way! And kind of liked the subject post you used too! LOL! :)
Craig - THANK YOU!!! I use google bookmarks (from the last tutorial you did), and have set up my google toolbar. But I haven't added any the keywords to help find things. Off I go to try........
Great idea Craig......didn't know anything about google bookmarks. Good video!

Thanks Craig. Again, information that I can use! Sometimes I can't figure your stuff out (not YOUR fault!), but this I can!
Ok, Craig--well I've gotta BOOKMARK this to come back to it to learn about BOOKMARKING in a more efficient manner.
Oh, by the way--I honored you in one of my posts--you haven't seen it yet, I don't think.
Craig, you never stop inspiring me! I loved seeing you in front of the camera and seeing how you put your intro in and finished up at the end.
I'm happy to report that I've been using Google Bookmarks since April 15th which must've been the day I sat down to digest your post. (I'm sure I wasn't avoiding finishing up my taxes!) I took a little screenshot so you can see how I've incorporated bookmarks into my work habits. Oh, and I started using Chrome at the same time and haven't looked back.
BTW, thanks for the shoutout! I was busily grabbing the screenshot for my comment when you surprised me by mentioning my YouTube embed post. Brought a big smile to my face on what's already been a pretty fine day!

I love your teaching and learn so much from you. This is so helpful to me and can't thank you enough for all you do!
Hannah - I'm glad to hear you are using this great tool and now with some new ideas
BLiz - good to hear of your discovery :)
Cyndi - keywords are what makes ALL the difference!
Anna - also a discovery, glad to hear it!
Jay - yes give it a try, it's great stuff
Gayle - bookmarks remind us of information overload! if we do bookmark something, it must be good, thx
Tara - I'm that way too, I'll do EVERYTHING else except the taxes until I have to. Wow you have really implemented AR toolset and GB/GB+ - awesomeness! :)
Richard - mr. vblogger trailblazer - your words ringing in my ears, practice, practice, practice - watch what you created - learn from it and refine on the next one! thank YOU
Barb - that makes me very happy to hear - I wish I had more time for blogging/teaching but I'm happy for what I am able to create and share
Who would have known you could do so much with bookmarks. Thank you for always sharing your valuable information with the rest of us
One of the best features of Google Bookmarks is that they're portable -- accessible from anywhere you can sign into your Google account.
I LOVE this Craig! Definitely a handy way to keep track of things, but I was also just really enjoying seeing and hearing you. You have an awesome way of explaining things so that they just make sense.
Craig,
I've used Google bookmarks...but never knew all I could do! ..thank you so much
Have a great long weekend...
Hi Craig - This is a very useful post. I have not yet started using Google bookmarks but your tutorials give me a great reason to start.
Hi Craig,
another pfanntastic post Craig, you are the one AR needs to hire on the spot and pay you all the money you want....., I hear they are looking ;o)
Craig:
You always teach me something new. I hadn't used Google bookmarks, but I will now.
Great job, Craig. I did it before, following the non-video tutorial. This is way easier!!
Craig. .you have inspired me to change my system. .
I was using my email box to store these articles and websites. .I will make the change now!
Thank you
I need to send you money !
Kim - if you use it, you'll be glad for all the time you'll save looking for past reference articles :: Mike - you are welcome! :: John - in the cloud my friend :: Kristen - happy to see you here, thanks for the kind words :: Tiffany - google always figures out the "search and find" :) :: Ruthmarie - glad to hear, thanks for visiting
Elisa - see you there! :: Marc - it helps to see it in action, thanks, glad I did the video now! :: Sandy - I love my job of teaching! :: Pfanns - yell that a little louder, you are close to Seattle to hear it ;) :: Evelyn - cool, thanks for telling me :: Sandi - video tuts are easier to learn from, they just take longer to prepare :: Cheryl - gb/gb+ I really love it :: Fernando - I had other methods too, this one is tops, thank you! :: Ritu - you are very welcome!
Craig, I haven't used Google Bookmarks. I will have to give it a try. I always hate having to scroll down all the bookmarks in my browser to find something. Thanks.
I use Google Bookmarks but never customized the toolbar. That is worthy of a separate video blog. Thanks!
Awesome...this is one of the reasons why I like AR so much. It's nice to know there are a lot of people on AR much smarter than I that keeps me up to date on things I need to know to stay relevant in the industry...All I have to do is log on and read and take action..pretty cool...Thanks !
Like several above, I google bookmarks but never customized the bookmark toolbar. Thanks for the easy to follow video. Many times I don't bookmark and just google the topic to attempt to find the article. Total time suck. This is awesome.
Michael - yes too much scrolling doesn't save much frustration! :: Justin - appreciated, glad to hear :: Barbara - glad you are trying it, have a great weekend too! :: Sylvie - love that attitude! :: Jim - good point, I'll see if I can add to the queue :: Cory - I love to be able to add value in the AR community :: Ann - be sure see my other blog post about how to create the toolbar :: Robert - glad to see you and some others on this post that I haven't connected with yet, thanks! :)
Thanks for sharing... I will have to look at your creating toolbar blog as well!
Craig...
I actually discovered this feature by accixent, and didn't even know it had an official name. Great info as usual, your blog is a treasure trove of great stuff!
More things on my to do list. I like the idea of being able to search my bookmarks.
Craig, once again you have wowed me you the vast knowledge you posess. Couldn't help myself, but I had to subscribe to your blog.
Brenda/Ron - yes, head back to that one, a fav tip of mine! :: Erica - google all the way! me too :: Anthony - glad you like, thanks! :: Richard - great that you had this, hope I can fine tune it for you, leverage those keywords! :: Christine - I haven't looked back since I discovered it :: Ray - very happy to hear those words! :)
Craig -- I was looking for a way to do this. Heard about Evernote and had that in my notes to check out. I'll just use this -- very simple. Thanks!
Very informative video. I think being able to tag bookmarks has put me over the top to start using Chrome. :)
Craig--your posts are always so great. I have never used Google bookmarks but now I'm ready to! Thanks.
Barbara - I agree about evernote, I've almost signed up but found these other tools are working quite nicely for me! :: Joe - I'm all for you using chrome (my favorite browser) but just to be fair to the other browsers, you can do this in any of them :: Robert - I like the video tutorial format, I hope to do more soon, thanks :: Janet - glad you learned something new, I love to hear that! :)
Hi Craig - Thanks for doing a video. I was able to really comprehend the steps and and the concept. I have great difficulty with text explanations of tech stuff because the unfamiliar tech terminology alone throws me, let alone the ability to grasp the explanation. As an illustration, I would be able to better exlain what I'm trying to say if I did a video. Also, please, I would have liked you to show me how to add Google Bookmarks to my toolbar.
Great info Craig. I will need to start using this so I can find things faster!
Derk - I like to videos and understand it is easier to follow... they take a little longer to prep, but stay tuned more coming! :: Gerard - it is a timesaver, I can attest to it after having used it a while! :)
Thank you, Craig. This is such a useful lesson. I read many great articles on Google before, only never to find them again. Now I know how to retrieve them whenever I want. Thank you very much.
I haven't used google bookmarks and will look into it now after reading your post, thank you!
Elizbeth - the great thing about google bookmarks is that you can tag your favorites all over the web (not just in activerain) and secondly by adding your own keywords, you can build a real index that works for you to locate an article again when you need it! thanks as always, glad to see you :: John - you are very welcome :: Patricia - I hope you get a chance to use it, it really helps! :)
Thanks for the useful information, Craig! I've never used Google Bookmarks.
I found this via your comment on Mimi's post. I love the Google bookmark feature. Thanks for the video - it's a great explanation!
Steve - thanks for commenting, glad to see you
Rebekah - happy that you hopped over here to check it out - gb+ is one of my fav clicks :)
I just reblogged with this notation:
I also use Delicious but Google has so much cool stuff you can keep it simple and go this route. I am really anxious for the icloud to come out the Fall from Apple. My bookmarks are not syncing correctly on Mobile Me so this is not connected on my stuff to avoid all the error messages. This might be the best solution for now!
Craig, Thanks for digging all this stuff up for us then sharing it in an easy to understand format. I love most Google apps and I now I know how to better organize my bookmarks and retrieve all these great AR articles. I'm a newbie but loving all of this! See you in the Rain!
Hi Craig,
There is a reason I don't delete the Active Rain Daily Drops I get until I've had a chance to go through them and that is because I don't want to miss out on what the staff has featured! This is great information! Thanks so much! Now that I'm subscribing to your blogs though, I hopefully won't miss any!
Craig ..You are so helpful I always use Google bookmarks ;but you have showed me new ways to use it ..thank you so much
Hannah
