Google Voice Has a Dirty Mind, Until I Listened to the Message
I too use Google Voice which I love but sometimes what the system thinks was said is "NOT" the truth so Google needs to work on that for sure. Thanks for the post
Google Voice Has a Dirty Mind, Until I Listened to the Message
If you use google voice, you may have noticed that it does not transcribe voice messages all that well.
All my email messages, including google voice, goes to email and are sent to my blackberry. I always laugh when I read some of the messages because when I listen to them, that’s not exactly what the caller said at all.
Today I missed a call, and google voice transcribed the message to read like the following:“And we have to tie tomorrow so. I know you like the handcuffs. That's when you're fetish is listened. If the price should come down. Let me know. …”
The message was from a buyer’s agent who put an offer on one of my short sale listings. Unfortunately the lender came back with a counter purchase price of $20,500 above the buyer’s offered purchase price.
Understandably this agent was not happy, and nor was his buyer. I told him there was nothing I could do, as the bank informed me the seller’s net was non-negotiable.
Imagine my shock when I listened to what the agent really said:“I know your hands are tied. I know you like handcuffs, that’s one of your fetishes. Hey, listen, if the price should come down. Let me know…”
Wow is all I can say and at least it's not Google Voice. Is this sexual harassment? What do you think?
