Thank-you for your prayers

Yesterday I asked on a post for you to pray for our area of West Tennessee that was in a direct path of storms containing tornadoes.

Last night we had the tv, radio and my cell phone(radar wallpaper) watching the approaching storm. When the storm hit the Mississippi river it appeared to divide into two separate cells and one went north and the other went south around my town of Dyersburg and we got no real damage except some tree limbs down.

I thanked the Lord last night for his protection and want to thank all of you for your prayers.

Hi Mike,

I am so glad to hear that the storm broke up into two smaller storms and it missed you. I know Southern Illinois down near Benton, IL got tons of rain and T-storms.

We had very heavy rain yesterday too. Today it is cloudy and cool. Our temp today is only around 55 right now!

Hi, Mike! So great to hear this. We probably had the same front, lots of thunder and lightning and heavy rains. It's better today, in the 60s. I can't remember having this much rain in many years we've been in SW Illinois. Our farmers are late in planting corn, so we don't know what kind or crop we'll have this fall. Take care!

We were having our storms here in Dallas too which I am sure you have heard what with all the buzz about Bob Stewart and tornadoes. I saw the clouds split that night as well. I thank God for ansered prayers (and not just Garth Brooks can sing that one).
